siiri hänninen
she/they
Helsinki | Finland
Siiri is a curious dreamer and, I guess, a builder of sorts. Her works are spaces or take place in spaces and through them she aims to give space to explore, discover and realise. She creates moods with her work and dreams of gentler ways of being and encountering.
Siiri is working postdisiplinary between art, activism and architecture.
Siiri dreams about city which would be creatively used, cared and healed by its more-than-human-citizens. She is trying to find new ways to work as an architect in the era of ecological crisis.
During 2024 she will be working as a teacher in Estonian Art Academy and Aalto University for architecture master students in the themes of activism and paying attention to more-than-human actors as a designer.
